      Possibly a virus
      Hi there,

I believe my tinnitus came during a heavy cold virus and never left.
It is in the centre of my head and I would describe the sound as that of an old fashioned TV pitch from the 70s that we used to have.

I am a Nutritional Therapist and starting to research my gut health more closely. I am awaiting food intolerance test result currently. I have read that there can be links to heavy metal toxicity and Candida and tinnitus so want to explore these avenues.

I am currently having acupuncture to see if that also helps. I have been told they can rid the parasite (if I carry one) from my system.

Has anyone found any links between tinnitus and gut health?
      TIA

The only place I found that advice was from a quack on YouTube talking.

Tinnitus is almost always linked to hearing deficits, even if very mild. But there is also connections to jaw and neck problems.
