Cause of Tinnitus
i had a tube in my ear that was blocked
I had a tube removed because one day, all of a sudden, I felt a shock go through me that caught me off guard. It went from my ear across my head. After that, I became dizzy and developed tinnitus and severe pressure.

I went to my ENT, and they saw that my left tube was crusted over and blocked. They removed it and put in another tube, but it didn't help. Then they took out the new tube and placed a mesh medical material to help close the hole.

The tinnitus is constant. Will the sounds go away once the hole closes and heals?

I am praying for you that it will. I had a tube put in my right ear in August, and it turned out I also had a Staph infection in that ear. I have been taking ear drops and Bactrim for 2 months. The strange thing is that I hear popping and cracking noises in that ear if I bend down, burp, drink water, or even when I am not doing anything. It is quite frightening because the pops can be very loud. I have a follow-up with the ENT in 2 weeks. It just does not sound normal.
