Hello everyone I am new on here

I would like to say I hope your all coping well. And thank you for reading this.

I have suffered for a good while now with the following symptoms

1 a stuck feeling in the ear which I can make it give crinkle sound

2 contractions in the ears for small low noise

3 my eye closes with these quiet noises and sometimes I feel something move behind my eye Like muscle or reflex somehow to the low level noise

4 if I'm away from the low sound it feel like the noise goes through my head

5 a numb pressure around the ears

6 a dull heavy feeling when not around any noise at all.

Any advice I would be more than grateful

Feeling very alone at the moment

All scans and hearing test tympanmety test are normal.

And the ent consultant told me it's all in my head

I'm really in need of some help

      Thank you again

      Best wishes

#1 is ear fullness. It is a common symptom and normally it fades (but it will probably take many months).

#2 is TTTS (Tonic tensor tympani syndrome). It will also probably fade.

Check out the thread below where I summarize everything (27 tips) I learned about managing tinnitus after reading the posts on this forum for the past year.

My TTTS is pretty much gone now (13 months after onset). My ear fullness was mostly gone 6-8 months after onset.

It was a freak accident. To make a long story short, a sonic toothbrush came in contact with the opening of my ear canal for a fraction of a second. That was more than 13 months ago...

What scans are you talking about?

How do you know that your T is due to loud music (as written on your profile)?
