Do tinnitus intensity fluctuations differ depending on the cause of tinnitus?

      increasingly uncertain, maybe noise, maybe somatic ?
      Many tinnitus sufferers report considerable (often daily) fluctuations in tinnitus intensity.

      I am interested in whether tinnitus sufferers with noise as the cause of tinnitus differ from tinnitus sufferers with other causes of tinnitus.
