Possible Hope?

I visited my doctor again this week, my primary one, and he looked in my one ear and saw that it was red and inflamed. He said it was possible the other doctor last week missed that.

I'm really hoping that this is just an ear infection.

Yea I would like to know too, because my tinnitus was caused by an ear infection too and I still have it after 10 months.

No. There are a couple things I could point to and say, "Well....maybe it was this." I don't have a clear indication like, blasting music through headphones and then taking them off and going WTF? or even firing a gun and then saying, "MY EARS!"

So I gave up trying to figure it out and I'm just working on overcoming it.

Well I thinkg 2,5 is not that long anyway so no one says it will never go away Yes I know the Internet is full of these stories but I dont think anyone who got over it wrote a post about it Maybe we should just keep calm and pig out

Yeah, I know it can still go away. What's more bothersome than the tinnitus is the hyperacusis. I think if the hyperacusis was gone it would speed everything up by twice as much.
