Congratulations to both of your sons. That's a great achievement, and I'm sure you're very proud of them!!

What were their Eagle Scout projects?

Aaron (the shorter one) sent huge care packages to troops in Afghanistan. The soldier that was involved in his project was there yesterday! He got letters from all over the US to send, along with donations from local businesses.

Alex (obviously the other one) made raised flower beds for an elderly complex in town.

Great projects! I'm sure they learned a lot from their experiences. Scouting can be a wonderful experience for young people. I was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader for four years myself, and I believe in the program.

I love hearing happy news of us T people leading our lives filled with joy. Congratulations! My brother became an Eagle Scout about 40 years ago and I still remember his ceremony. His project was upgrading hiking trails in New Mexico. I also was a Girl Scout through middle school. My family loves the outdoors to this day.

Being an Eagle takes special commitment. You indeed should be proud. Thanks for posting the pic.
