Pulsating Tinnitus

      Just wondering. Somethimes i can heart rate in my ear. But nog 24/7.
      When i wake up my T isn't that bad but when i go out of the bed and do my thing or just sitting on the bench my T goes way up and somethimes i can hear my haertbeat.

      And somethimes when i stand up i feel a lot of pressure in my head and there's the whoossing sound again.

      Anybody regonice this?

      Hi, Sandra,

      It's possible that you could have pulsatile tinnitus. One way to tell, when you hear the whooshing, is to see if it is exactly in time with your pulse or heartbeat. Hold your fingers to your wrist and count the beats, and note if you can count those same beats in your ears.

      If the pulsating becomes more severe, you may want to see a doctor to have it checked out, to rule out any problems.

      I have pulsatile tinnitus, too, but mine is constant. I also have a high-pitched, constant hissing sound along with it.
