I wouldn't take them at all...There's a possibility that you can damage the other ear and get tinnitus in both ears, also could get worse in the one you already have tinnitus in.

I hear @Danny Boy but its hard to avoid them all .....I've been taking omeperzol for years for Gerd and that too is ototoxic....damned if you do and damned if you don't
