Quinine in Coffee Causing or Spiking Tinnitus?

I've just read that coffee can contain quinine. I never knew this but do know that quinine can cause / spike tinnitus.

Could this be why having a coffee can spike tinnitus?

I always thought it was due to the caffeine. At least that's why I drink decaffeinated.
