Random Spike

I stood up and felt dizzy usually during this my tinnitus spikes for about 10 seconds, I always hear this low "eee" sound.

It happened today again but the low "eeee" did not go away. Now it has been 15 mins????? Is this permanent?

Oh I forgot to mention that I have not been in any loud places today! I have been this whole day in my room and reading to tests.

And to anyone who's suffering from a spike that just won't go away. Hang in there. My tinnitus spiked in the beginning of August and I first started noticing some change in the beginning of this month. There's still hope that it will get better!

proves that a temporary spike might last over 3 months, so don't panic.

I have read somewhere that stress can spike T? maybe it is stress, I am really stressed because I have many tests, but I have never experienced something like this.

Yep mine spiked three days ago lasted all day into the next morning then backed off who knows why I had been home all day

Yes, stress and anxiety can cause tinnitus to spike.
