Could gene editing be something for us with hearing loss?

Looks promising but i don't see how it could restore our ears or tinnitus? Beside i think it's very expensive, so not for us cause ours is not deadly. Hopefully i'm wrong.

 

I dont think it would do anything for T, but perhaps for hearing loss if you have a genetic cause like I do.
Hopefully the research and results from this can benefit gene therapy for hearing loss.

 

Yes, think you're right. Me too have genetic Hearing los from birth. Maybe they can stable it this way and restore with regeneration. Time will tell.

 

Its first ever official use of CRISPR in human. Since crisper is very young its nice to see they aleredy doing human tests

Ok in this article they say its not crisper, i read other article about same case and there was written its crisper.
Anyway its also gene editing tool , so still exited.
