I had the exact same issue. Couldnt pop one ear. Turns out it was an issue with muscle tension in my jaw and neck.
I also had ear pain when yawning and even swallowing. I had my atlas adjusted a few days ago and my T has gone down 80 percent in volume..

I've been to several doctors, ENT specialists, but none of them could diagnose anything.
The only "official" thing I got is Sinusitis, which was visible via CT scan and a high blood pressure.

But I feel like in the jammed left ear or somewhere in the left side of my inner ear is the problem - maybe connected to Sinusitis.

Thanks Carlyi!!! This gave me hope.

You know, that night, before my T occurred, I had a really really bad head/neck position for about 12 hours: 8 hours stressfully working on the computer in the office. And then additional 4 hours on my couch at home to finish the bloody project. When I woke up, I've heard birds singing…

@Carlyi : How much atlas sessions have you done? When did your T go down, after 1 session? I have no experience with atlas correction at all. Please tell me more. Thanks.

Atlas profilax - is that just one sort of many atlas therapies or techniques?

Did you have hyperacusis as well?

Currently living in Zurich, I think I can find here some atlas therapiest.

      Thanks for sharing information.

@Carlyi: I read some of your posts in order to find out, if the causes of your T. are like mine. Because I am bit concerned about the Atlas therapy: However, it seems to be not a trivial intervention. Actually I would like to do it, only if really needed.

May I ask, if you had also some of the following symptoms as well:

      Hyperacusis
      Sinusitis
      Throat Pain

      Thank you so much.

Dear brothers and sisters, more then 2 years later:

Still have the Tinnitus and Hyperacusis.

But I habituated them… let's say: 50%. It happens quite often that I simply forget it. Didn't believe that it's possible. Coz at the beginning it was driving me nuts and I wasn't able to ignore it. Now sometimes I even barely notice it. But then again, it is still here and sometimes it gets louder, just not that annoying like when it started. All in all, better but still not cured.

Friends, if you are new to this, don't let the Tinnitus let you down! Believe it or not, you are stronger than this. There is some kind of built-in strength in each of us. Don't wanna sound like a preacher, but this is true.

If it gets tough, don't forget the First aid pack: Making some sport and taking a shower. The water noise will mask it.
Don't drink alcohol, don't panic, don't worry too much, don't eat too spicy, salty and sweet.
Try Magnesium. In my case it helped.

In the winter days heating the flat/house and can dry out the air. So, drink more water now.
