My heart goes out to those, who live in chronic pain. I can recall the stabbing pain in my lower back, that brought me to my knees, with tears in my eyes.
After a MRI, I had back surgery for a herniated disk, in my lower back, and now the pain is gone. I may have experienced the pain of anguish, but I don't live with it now.
I did take something away though. Remembering the poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost". It had more meaning, after I joined the Military long ago. So I'm adding a little more, as I continue on with my life's journey.
As I broke from the forest,
leaving despair behind
I carry with me, the strength of perseverance
and the compassion, to be kind
My heart will always be with you
Who take the path of pain and fear
For you are on a different road
Where the brush is hard to clear
Searching for the light of hope
I wish you on your way.
Leaving suffering behind you
on the road to a brand new day
