I have had tinnitus for 1 year. It was going down but still fluctuating and reactive. Some time it went from 7/10 to 2/10 and vice versa. No problem sleeping (after few months from the onset).

Last week I had acoustic trauma (plate broken near me), but tinnitus didn’t spike at all.

Next days tinnitus changed: it became 3/10 and no more reactive. So maybe a bit better?
      How can this be possibile?

Loud noise exposure / headphone accident maybe?
Are you sure you could consider that an accoustic trauma? Just asking because I always think I have a new one too, but mostly it's fairly ok.

Rly good question mate. The crash was very strong , I felt a One second Paint in the ear and I asked to myself too: what about the ears of the ppl who were closer than me to the incident (because it happened in the restaurant).
I explained to myself that my ear was already damaged (that’s why i have T) so “more easy to broke”.
I am a bit scared about the change.
