Cause of Tinnitus
One exposure on loud club
I thought I was doing OK.

I'm 8 months in, I am still bothered by it most nights or in quiet environments. Or even on my office when it's quiet, which sucks for productivity.

My hyperacusis had gone to zero, but I still get some pain if there's a sudden loud noise on my right ear, or with soft sounds if I am anxious.

Hearing didn't recovered on right ear, it still hears different than the left one, more duller.

So some questions for you guys:

1) Should I start TRT for my tinnitus and mostly for my hyperacusis on right ear?
2) I need to remove my 4 wisdom teeth, on is pushing my jaw, which is misaligned, could this be part of the problem? Should I be worried by the extraction? I'll have to use a splint to correct my jaw.
3) After this is all done, what do you think of getting an in ear hearing aid? Can I ever feel that I'm hearing well out of my right ear again? Don't have hearing loss up to 8k, if I have hearing loss on higher frequencies, could it also help? I'm having an extended audiogram next week.

I can give you advice on the third part. If you get the extended audiogram and find you have hearing loss in the higher frequencies, ask to try a Signia 7nx or 7px hearing aid. They can be programmed up to 12khz. Most aids don't go that high. Make sure the programmer knows what he's doing too. I hope things go well for you.
