So here I am enjoying a little rest in Asia (coinciding with Chinese New Year, although I am not Chinese)...

Decided to meet a friend at the mall and have dinner, but as she had her dog we had to sit outside. Now about 400 feet down the terrace of the outdoor mall was a small concert that was echoing down our way.

We could converse at more or less a regular level, though had to raise our voice a bit towards the end. I thought well, it must be a safe level as conversation was at a regular level. But I think I was wrong.

T has spiked majorly and did have a slightly muffled ear the next day.... that has subsided but T is still raging and my ears still feel "sore" 3 days later.

So I'm going through the usual beating myself up for being senseless... if I didn't have a muffled ear the next day, I would have just chalked the T spike to anxiety, but I'm fearful now I did more damage to my ears.

Am I over-reacting or do you think my fears are justified?

You are over-reacting. :) T goes up and down sometimes without any causes and it's so easy for our brain and mind to look for causality.

Does your T have a pattern of up and downs?

      Thanks for the reply.

My T does have it's ups and downs... however, as far as I can recall it has never been "up" this high nor accompanied by the muffled ear the day after the noise exposure.

Worst of all is I probably have to fly out tomorrow... albeit it will be to a beach, so maybe it might be more beneficial than harmful!

Buy cheap sonometer - it will calm your anxiety in future and will reassure you where you can feel entirely safe instead of gussing game you go through now.

He hasn't logged on since the 25th of february. It's probably safe to say he's doing alright
