Staying Afloat with Sedatives — Hearing Loss + Tinnitus (Sizzling, Cicadas)

I have been suffering from hearing loss since I was a child. One day, while I was spending time at the computer, a sizzling sound appeared in my right ear and caused me fear. Then, another sound was added, kinda similar to the sound of cicadas. It was later revealed that it has an intensity of 80 decibels.

I'm trying to cope with sedatives.

My only hope is OTO-313 treatment. I have read some articles and OTO-313 treatment seems to work for people who are new to tinnitus. To be honest, that reduced my hope because I have had this disease since June 2020. I hope it works for me.

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried masking the tinnitus so you won't have to use sedatives too much or too often? Perhaps try natural supplements for calming. Meditation can also help calm the nerves.
