Anxiety
I am new to this community. I was suffering from a unknown stomach problem since Jan 2015 . I was put on acid suppressants by my gastroenterologist for almost 4 months until May 2015. In follow -up endoscopy when doctor discovered that my gastritis is cured but still I am having symptoms of gastric problem he prescribed me strong antibiotic. after taking antibiotic for 7 days , I developed panic attacks almost one everyday. I visited nearby hospital they prescribed me a powerful B complex supplement . After having this for a week I got relief from my stomach symptoms but my anxiety did not subside . Almost after suffering from anxiety disorder for a month I was totally depressed and one day while sitting in silence I noticed a strange hissing sound in my right ear. I ignored it for first time but I found as I notice it more it keep increasing and in one week time it was full blast. I visited ENT specialist who did hearing test found my hearing is normal and advised me to see a Psychiatrist. I have been trying antidepressant for last months but nothing is working so far. I have been taking Gingko extract ( prescribed by ENT specialist) , B12 injection 1 ml once every week ( as my level was 235 when I had first panic attack), Vit D & zinc supplement ( prescribed by my neurologist ) and Venlafaxine OD 75 ( prescribed by Psych. ).
My life is badly affected by anxiety and tinnitus I am caught in a vicious cycle of anxiety - tinnitus-anxiety-depression. I am unable to sleep , work in office or enjoy my life with my family . I am living through a horrible phase in my life none of the medicine has so far worked to subside these symptoms . I need urgent help.

Thanks

Welcome Raghav. Members here understand your struggle. Being anxious and depressed is something quite common for newer sufferers because the brain is traumatized by the new & alien ringing which so far has no proven cure. But don't despair and panic. Things will get better. I have been where you are and probably worse and I suffered hell for it but now live a happy life. I wrote my success story like others and listed some important points which have helped me turned around my life. For brevity I provide the link and hopefully you have time to read the story:

Also new drugs are being tested, like AM101 and Autifony. One member here actually took the trial of Autifony and has reported 75% reduction over 4 weeks. So good news are on the horizon from the medical world.

Autifony Quiet-1 success story:

I get better over time, but I am not alone in this. The success stories are filled with people who get better over time and after some help one way or the other. So read over them to give yourself some hope and learn some valuable insights how to get better. In general, time, acceptance, positivity and patience plus some strategy will lead one to improve over time. So remember to give Time enough time. Hope you will improve. Relax and don't despair. Get some masking to help reduce the anxiety and panic about T. Hope you will improve over time. Take care & God bless.
