Cause of Tinnitus
Noise
Hello,

I caught a virus last weekend that left me with a cold, stuffed and runny nose that is now slightly improving.

I also experience some aural fullness, minor dizziness and sometimes it seems my hearing is affected (dampened) and when I blow my nose my tinnitus is gone or greatly diminished for some brief moments, my ears also pop alot when I blow my nose.

Now I read that those things can be symptoms of the Eustachian tubes being blocked.

Anyone experienced something similar during a cold? Or is this ETD?

I am going to wait another week and then take a visit to the ENT to have it checked.

Thanks!

A full feeling behind the cheekbones eye. Ears popping, like when you're in a plane. And yes, during a cold. That's how all my tinnitus troubles started.
