      Hi Dr Nagler,

My ENT still advised me to take steroid for a week even after few months onset of tinnitus, i have some high frequency loss(8kz, 45DB) at T onset, and returned to normal(20DB) after a month without taking any steroid but tinnitus is still here... ENT think it's worth a try, what do you think?

Not likely to help, in my considered opinion, but I'd follow your ENT's recommendation anyway. A one week course of steroids in an otherwise-healthy adult has a very low risk profile. And the thing of it is, we really don't have good statistics on how many folks with tinnitus it truly does help.
