I am quite new to this and want to know what happened when you started noticing it and the difficulties you had to face through your lifetime with it.

Did you get it from a specific event like a concert?

Did you know about tinnitus before you got it, protected yourself, and still got it?

Did it start out mild then get worse after being exposed to a dangerously loud noise without protection permanently worsening it?

Did it start out mild and eventually get better?

What lifestyle changes did you have to make?

Do you try and educate people about the condition?

Have you developed anxiety and other health issues because of it?

Tell me how it changed you as a person and how you go about life differently. I'd like to really know how other people dealt/deal with it so I can apply it to my own journey through this. Thank you very much for all your answers!

Take a look at the "Introduce yourself" sub-forum: most people start by writing exactly what you're asking for in there, as they introduce themselves.

1) YEs
2) No, I never knew what T was until I got it
3) Huge changes. My life is pretty much destroyed.
4) Yes, but they cant believe shit like this exsists
5) yes, I have visual snow and black eye floaters ever since I did the VEMP Test which was 110db, it resulted in 25db hearing loss on 4khz
6) life pretty much sucks for me. I got it when I was 27 and now I am 28, almost one year with this and its so scary. I cant work, read, watch tv, focus, go outside, sleeping is hard because of visual snow and blasting tinnitus. I am also scared that tinnitus might ruin my brain completely.
