- Unclear. Inflammatory allergic reaction/AIED
Not sure how common this is, so I thought I would ask.
As briefly as I can, my tinnitus is pretty atypical anyway as isn't present 100% of the time. I have a central hiss that comes and goes without explanation, a very high, dog whistle ring in my left ear that also comes and goes and ETD in my right ear that sometimes produces a Morse code type sound and at other times a continual tone - this can be completely removed be either popping my ear and usually will remain gone for several hours until it seems to block up again.
I have noticed recently that I lose my hearing in my left ear for a few seconds. A bit like fleeting tinnitus, but I suppose the other way around. The occurrence is less than once a week and so far has occurred about 5 times. Oddly though, there is no tinnitus left, I just can't hear anything out of that ear.
Anyone else experienced this?
