Hi my name is Barry and I have had tinnitus since June last year which came about from a bad head cold with major congestion.

My tinnitus is in both ears (even though the ringing is not actually in the ear apparently), but now is louder in the left side...

Trying niacin 3000mg currently, doing zero carb but that hasn’t done anything either...

Thanks for having somewhere to go regarding the ringing.

Welcome to the forum, Barry. Did you take some cold medicines that are ototoxic? Also, did the head cold sinus congestion lead to ETD, such as blockage of the eustachine tube? If you want, you can search youtube for eustachine tube drainage and you will find some easy method to do drainage by yourself. Take care. God bless.
