      Tinnitus Since:
      2013
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Medication and hearing loss
My co-worker told me his story tonight and I found it to be encouraging for anyone who has had this for a brief time and wish I had meant him 3 years ago. He was on a ton of medication. He was an alcoholic in the 70's and when he stopped drinking he wasn't doing well emotionally. They put him on antipsychotics antidepressants and anti anxiety meds. He decided one day that he was done taking them. He cut himself off cold turkey. He developed ringing in his ears for four months. He said it was incredibly loud. He took xanax every once and while to cope. It stopped after four months five years ago and hasn't been back. I am writing this to encourage people who are new to T to not freak out and this could go away on its own. I hope this helps soothe some of the new suffers. I am three years in and still hold out hope that this could stop one day. Anyhow, take care everyone.

      Maybe stress ?
I think that people who are not obsessed to their T can recover better than other .
ignoring it will be tthe best solution
