Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here and I'd love to get your opinions.
I've officially reached the 3-month stage of having tinnitus from a single loud bang caused by a tyre popping. For the first month and a bit, I had regular ear discomfort and a sense of fullness, but that's faded now. The ringing hasn't stopped yet, although thankfully it's dropped in volume over these 3 months. It's still definitely there, and my right ear sometimes clicks when I swallow.
I'm curious if it's worth holding onto hope that it may fade by 6 months to a year, since I've heard that from some people, while others say there's no point expecting improvement. I'd love to know what you think about whether it seems likely to fade or stay.
Thanks for your time reading!
