I tried this. I was thinking that we learn most of what we know by what we read through books. So, I wrote a tinnitus script saying that my tinnitus was getting quieter and my brain was finding new hearing pathways, etc and I started reading it over a few times each night just before I go to sleep. It's been a couple of days and my tinnitus is way down. Your brain remembers what it reads... I'm going to keep doing it and see what happens. My tinnitus was horrible. Right now as I am writing this it's not so bad.
