Hello. My journey with tinnitus started about 3 months ago. I'm 19 years old and I got it from an ear infection. Ever since then it has been fluctuating in frequency, loudness, and getting different sounds.

Yesterday and today I have gotten fleeting tinnitus about 5 times, and my tinnitus seems to be about 30% lower.

Does this mean something is going on within the ears? I was initially afraid of SSHL due to muffled hearing but I don't have it anymore.

It is a very good sign that it isn't relentlessly at the same level.

It looks like eventually your T will be gone. It shouldn't take longer than 1-2 years for this to happen.

Fleeting Tinnitus always makes my tinnitus lower. I consider it a good thing...

Hey @markjetz do you still have fleeting tinnitus? Also is your usual tinnitus any better or worse?
