Tinnitus and Television

Hey Doc,

I was just wondering if you had any tips how to enjoy TV without T bothering you?
I find myself only watching movies and stuff on low days because on loud days, the noise does a really good job of co existing and interfering with what im trying to watch.

I do not have any particularly practical suggestions for you, my friend; what I have to say falls more under the umbrella of overall philosophy ...

You can view the world through the prism of your tinnitus or you can view the world and happen to have tinnitus. You will know that you are well on your way to overcoming your tinnitus when you have moved from the former to the latter. And at that point the only thing that factors into whether or not you enjoy TV is whether or not the show you are watching is any good!
