Tinnitus at Home (400 Meters Above Sea Level)

Does anyone else find their tinnitus disappears at sea level?

For the past 3 years I live for half a year at approximately 400meters, when travelling to avoid the winter weather I have complete relief at sea level. Problem is I love my home but hate the noise, incidentally in one ear only. My GP says ear is fine....

Any others with this problem, any possible relief measures??

This search with 'altitude' generates quite a few prior posts related to changes in tinnitus due to altitude.
