Tinnitus Back After 2 Months of Being Cured

After 2 months of being cured of tinnitus, I got it again after being home during my fathers roof replacement with very loud banging noise.

All I can say is I believe once you get tinnitus no matter the cause you will always have it and if you cure it the chances of you getting it back later on are very high. It's just the truth, even after getting rid of mine I had a feeling it would come back someday.

I am highly upset but have learned to live with this. I wish this condition never existed because as long as you have it there is always a big chance it will get worse in the future and this life is just not meant to be lived with this stupid noise.

The world is a very loud place and we shouldn't have to be concerned about loud noises we encounter.

Truth is we can choose not to care about loud noises but in a couple months you'll end up wondering why your tinnitus is louder.

But hey this is the way life is. I guess all we can do is take it one day at time.

I'm sorry if the post is depressing but these are my true thoughts on tinnitus after what I went through.

 

@josf3 sorry to hear your T is coming back. But don't lose heart. Your T is still relatively new and so be prepared for its unpredictability and setbacks. Try to stay calm and be positive that the spike will settle to baseline again and try not supply the fuel to T with negative emotions as it will only aggravate T. If you read enough success stories you will see that many people went through quite a bit of setbacks along the way so it is better prepared that this may happen. Take care. God bless.
