- Cause of Tinnitus
- Noise exposure at a concert
Hi, my name is Michelle and I am 14 years old. I developed tinnitus over two weeks ago from going to an extremely loud concert.
My tinnitus has gone down a lot but is still there in quiet places and when I sleep. I also have blocked/pressure on my ears hopefully just from a sinus infection (I have a cold).
Next month, I booked my birthday party at six flags(roller coasters).
Will I be able to go, or will it make my tinnitus worse or potentially rupture my ear drum due to the pressure I already have?
Also, I am going on a flight to South Africa in two months. It is a 24 hour flight. Will I be able to fly without worsening my tinnitus or my blockage in the ears?
What can I do to prevent the tinnitus getting worse? Thank you all so much. My prayers go out to all of you.
