Today, I went to my physical, and I told my doctor about the earwax problem. Much to my suprise, she said that its ok and fine, when last week, my school nurse said that I had a lot of earwax. Now, I didn't get it removed, sadly. I can still hear the sound when the heater in my house turns on, and very very faint (nearly unnoticeable) outside. Even in the clinic, I could hear it if the room is quiet. If I lay in bed, and turn my head sideways where one of my ears are laying on the pillow, I can hear it clearly (unless I'm in a very deep sleep). Is there any way to at least lower the volume of it. Last week was the worst week, since it was cold and I could hear it clearly, and intestified last week on Tuesday during school. Any ideas? I do worry about it. Honest answers please.

If you are in doubt of the ear wax, perhaps get a different doctor look at it. How to get the volume reduced? Perhaps with the wax removed, perhaps trying to stay calm and positive as stress and anxiety are bad for T.

Generally, when T is new, this TT thread is very helpful to guide you step by step what to do to help yourself. Here is the link for it.

Yes, ever since that was happening, I was always on this website. Right now, I have a fan on, which blocks out the tinnitus (you can no longer hear it, unless I lay on my side where my ears are laying on my pillow) even thinking about it brings the noise back.

If you need more pleasant sounds than a monotonous fan, here are some suggestions:

      TT’s own excellent masking sounds:
      https://www.tinnitustalk.com/audioplayer/

If you need more masking sounds, here is free ‘aire freshener’:
      http://www.peterhirschberg.com/mysoftware.html

You can mix your own rain sounds with this rain generator:
      http://mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/rainNoiseGenerator.php

Search youtube with ‘masking sounds’ and you will also get lots of different nature sounds, such as rain, waves, waterfalls, running brooks, insect sounds, even shower & faucet etc.

The environment I live in is usually normal, plus, I'm thing as if this noise I hear is normal to me, although the the earwax thing is the cause, I'm starting to think about the past experiences I've had. All the noises I hear (from my fan to a car motor) mask out the noise. I just have to have the earwax removed. I don't know how much is "normal" earwax.
