Tinnitus Ear Went Half Deaf and Full for a Couple of Minutes

Had extremely low tinnitus day on Sunday and after I woke up Monday morning I was walking down my hall and right ear went partially deaf and full accompanied by about 30 seconds of tonal tinnitus.

Scared the crap out of me so I called ENT and want me to come in tomorrow. Ear was buzzing away with worries all day yesterday so I just drank 3 beers in the evening and said oh well it's crappy any way tonight.

Woke up today and have had almost downright silence. What the hell is going on? Scared for doc to try and test me tomorrow and what they think. They never make an appointment that fast.

 

Mine does that sometimes, too, especially the right ear. Have you tried the pinching your nostrils together and blow trick?
