      Hi All, I have had symptoms of Tinnitus since Dec 24th. It's been frustrating, but I am hanging in there. The symptoms started with an inner ear pain a few weeks prior. The pain was pretty severe. The severe pain lasted for a few days and it led to Vertigo for about two days. I ended up taking sudafed and advil and the pain seem to lessen. Fast forward a couple weeks to 12-24 and my ears started ringing. I ended up going to an ENT on 12-28 and he treated me for a virus, followed by treatment for a sinus infection, but no improvement. I still have inner ear pain and high pitched ringing. My hearing tests all came back as "no loss of hearing", my pressure tests were normal, so the tests continue. I am glad I found this site. There seems to be a great support structure. My next step is a MRI. Hopefully, it comes back negative. Any advice is welcome.

      @glynis
      Could it be early stages of meniere's disease?

      Hi @AnxiousJon ,
      Its to early to say as tests need to be done .
      Keep a note on how you are with tinnitus,virtigo,ear presure,any sickness to show ENT after your MRI.

      You might have had Labyrinthitus due to a virus causing vertigo that can take days or weeks to get over....lots of love glynis

      Thanks for the replies. I just went for my MRi and I should have the results early next week. My ENT would like me to go to a specialist at a University Hospital once the results are received. I am still getting some nausea and dizziness along with the ear pain and ringing. I am also scheduling a dental exam to rule out a tooth issue (I have some pain with one of my teeth).

      Thanks for the comments.
