does the tinnitus frequency correspond to the hearing loss frequency? or does it seem like that because we cant hear very well at those frequencies during the hearing test?
could hearing loss just be a trigger for tinnitus rather than a cause?
why dont people get low freqency tinnitus. its always a high pitch. how odd?

Definitely the bad spots in my hearing both low and high, but that doesn't explain people who hear crickets or whoosh or other sounds that are not frequency driven it seems.

Not sure if it corresponds to the area we have hearing loss but I think it does. I can hear up to 16 or 17 kHz and my t sounds pretty close to that tone. Maybe just above where I have the hearing loss. I guess I wouldn't know ow.
But people with menieres have low frequency hearing loss and t that is very low frequency.
