      Tinnitus Since:
      October 2020
      Cause of Tinnitus:
When I was in high school I remember hearing electrical noises in my ear... and not knowing what it was it went away and I completely forgot about it, not sure if its relevant. (15 years ago)

Like most people once in a while I would get a blocked ear.. usually from earwax buildup.

Sometimes, especially the months leading up to this my ear would block on an off during the night, maybe from pressure from the pillow. One morning it was completely blocked for 3 days and suddenly started hearing furnaces, and all kinds of noises in my ear... sometimes it would go in the other ear and I would get a bunch of clicking noises when swallowing. For at least 2 months it was really bad but it slowly got better, then in January I got a bad cold and it got worse again, but still not as bad as when it first happened, but then slowly got better and better... and now it's to the point where it doesn't even bother me anymore, very quiet, barely noticeable. I heard it takes a while for ears to heal so hoping it just keeps getting better.

I wanted to share this story because there were other stories on here that gave me hope to get through the very rough time and I want to give others hope as well.
I wish you all happiness and full recovery.

Probably noise, stress and a neck injury.
Glad it's improving for you - keep protecting those ears!
