Tinnitus Over Tinnitus: Could You Have Ringing or Humming Over your Regular Tinnitus?

      Could you have ringing or humming over your regular tinnitus? Temporarily of course.

      If you mean hearing several tinnitus sounds at the same time then yes.

      I mean, get ringing or humming like you used to before tinnitus. But on top of your regular tinnitus.

      If it's something you used to get before tinnitus, I don't see why having tinnitus would make it stop happening.

      Unknown - possibly earphones.
      yes you can have many tinnitus tones - i did at the worst of it. some of it can even oscillate louder and quieter over and over while others are just a tone all at the same time

      I have several tones over my original tinnitus and a hum and they are not temporary unfortunately

      Ototoxic earwax drops, worsened by MDs (Muppet Doctors)
      Yep, you can. My T changes almost everyday. Sometimes one sound at higher frequency, sometimes many across multiple frequencies from low to high. Usually acoustic incidences cause a temporary hum or whoosh over the top which almost feels like a physical sensation as opposed to just sound - like blood rushing or something.
