Tinnitus Spike Caused by Wine and Liquor?

Good morning, I am having a spike today, and I am thinking that it may be caused by a small amount of wine and liquor that I consumed last night. I am generally a light drinker, and the amount that I had amounted to no more than a taste of each. Is this just a coincidence? Can this be permanent? Thanks.

Thank you for responding. I will try to relax and not think about it. In my case, my t seems to respond to everything that I do, unfortunately. Loud noises, stress in particular, certain foods, so it always something, but thank you very much.

It is likely Not permanent. I've had this too. Normally I don't drink any alcohol. The first time I had a little Cream Liquor, I got a big spike. It went away after a couple of hours.

I like to drink a couple of beers at night. It sort of nums it up, and yes the volume goes up but I don't pay attention knowing after a little while it's gonna go down again. If you get really drunk, pay the consequences the next day, but your T will go down again. It works for me...
