Maybe this is common but it really seems the T wants to be noticed. I adjusted in the past and so expect to do so again. However since last fall it has been continuous. At first very high pitched which matched I assume the HF hearing loss I have.
I was starting to adjust to that - being able to ignore it during the day. So it changed its tone (not volume) slightly lower but oddly much less ignorable. Then - twice - it has "reacted" to me not thinking about it. I was reading before bed and noticed for a second it wasn't bothering me. So then it roared up making it difficult to even lay down let alone fall asleep. This is so bizarre and not a spike or fluctuation. And the Morse code/radio tuner sound seems almost constant. On the plus side I haven't been as dizzy.
