      Hey people.

Today I was at school. There was a very loud school bell, the loudest sound I’ve ever heard. I quickly put my hands on my ears - after that a chair fell very loudly on the ground. I heard a big beep after that. The big beep went away but now my tinnitus has increased.

I often get the big beep for a couple of seconds when there is not even loud sound but this one was directly after the chair fell.

I’m very worried. Please give me some advice.

      Thanks,
      Willy

I suspect you will be fine. Try to relax and give it time for the spike to settle.

Was it just a coincidence that I got the big beep when the chair fell?

I am not sure. How often do these beeps happen?

      Not often, once a day.

It could be random and happened to happen at the same time.

Sounds like fleeting tinnitus. This might be your body trying to recalibrate and to heal.
