Train Horns

Any thoughts on train horns in Europe ?

Got blasted by one yesterday and sounded pretty damn loud to me, just a second or so , my wife said it was loud but not too loud, but than again , what else can she say

Im sure it was loud but try not worry about it as will spike your tinnitus worrying.
Bet it was like one of them long stupid pipe things you blow at a footy game....

I got blasted by one of those 5 days ago. I was sitting on a train with the windows open and a train slowly came past us and blew it's horn immediately as it passed my window. A spike has ensued which has not yet subsided.

Did yours cause a spike, and if so did it recover?
