      hey dr.nagler,

I suffer from mild tinnitus and misophonia and TTTS.
Lately im feeling much better, my audologist said its from the magnesium i take daily but when i quit it i might get more ttts symptons again she ordered wearable soundgenerators for me they cost like 1000 euro for 2 i can try them for 1 month then decide if buy them
i said to her that im feeling alot better but she still said i should complete the trt course she is sure that she can get ride of my TTTS and misophonia.
im not sure what to do buy the soundgenerators or get better on my own
i checked her before i started TRT she does this for over 15 years and ''cured'' many ppl from my country with hyperacusis and misophonia
whats your input on this matter dr.nagler

      thank you

      Hi @jonathanvg -

My input will be simple and straightforward.

I would never trust a person who claims to be "sure" that he or she can get rid of your TTTS and misophonia using TRT or anything else. TRT can often be very helpful in such cases, but a guarantee of success? No way.

I wish I could be more positive for you, but unless your audiologist is some sort of clairvoyant, her pitch to you just doesn't pass the "smell test" as far as I'm concerned.
