Trying to Stop Monitoring My Fluctuating Tinnitus — You Are All Warriors!

Hey guys,

I've had tinnitus that fluctuates daily for about a month now. Cause: who knows and who cares!

Like many of you, I was beside myself at first, and continue to have a bad day now and again, but the bigger picture is coming into focus. I'm still trying to overcome "checking in on it", but I believe that will come with time, as many of you have noted.

I've stopped using headphones and earbuds for good, and audio from my phone seems to aggravate it so I've stopped that as well. I've avoided loud places since the onset.

I may (or may not) have bad days in the future, but right now I'm sitting in the sun, and God is with me.

You are all warriors, never give up!

Wedome to the forum. Yes it is important to enjoy life whenever and wherever it may be. Finding joy amidst the pain and living life abundantly to compensate for tinnitus is the new motto for me. It can only help being positive. You are obviously on the right track with the right attitude. God bless your recover.
