Interesting that some of us would have success and others have said it spiked their tinnitus.

That video and ingredients were discussed on a previous thread. I don't think it worked out too well in general.

I've taken 400mg Mag Glycinate every night for about a year - been doing curcumin for about 6 months. Can't say for sure it helps but my T is overall lower than it was and both are good for you anyway - I'd keep it up for a few months until you decide to stop. FYI I also take 60mg Ginko AM & PM - about a year with that as well.

How long have you taken the magnesium and curcumin? Give it at least 1 month. Don't expect immediate results.

By the way, I would suggest trying Magnesium L-Threonate. It's the only form of magnesium that crosses the blood brain barrier.

600mg in the morning, 600mg at lunch and 1200 at dinner.

Should I try 2400mg before bed instead? What about magnesium? Thanks!

Just started a day or 2 ago. I will give it some weeks at least. My wife wants me to try THC but I do not want to mess around with too many things at the same time.

      Thanks for the magnesium tips!

I've been thinking a lot about different forms of magnesium recently. Would L-threonate be best for tinnitus do you think?

I just take 3,000 mg with dinner. I have found that to be the optimal dosage fro me. I don't know anything about magnesium.
THC will give you a temporary spike.

Do you take the curcumin with piperine? It helps with absorption.

Just realized an unexpected side effect of taking blood thinners long term (curcumin is a blood thinner).

"Although listed as a rare, or even nonexistent, side effect for most blood thinners, some people experience hair loss, or hair thinning, while taking them."
      https://bloodclotrecovery.net/fix-your-thinning-hair/

I was wondering why my hair was thinning and falling out just a little bit.

      Oh well. ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

I'm quitting curcumin for a little while.

Now I'm trying something I've been meaning to try for a while, a good long multi day fast.

From my understanding, the importance is the absorption, and it's bioavailability, not the amount you consume? This can get confusing, as it was for me. Many people seem to be using brands (regular curcumin) with directions to consume up to 16 pills a day!, when other (better $$) brands only require to take just 1 a day and has more bioavailability (than 30 pills) based upon absorption and time-release. Hmmm.

What about resveratrol - the other polyphenic bioflavonoid? However, this also appears to be a blood-thinner as well. What's interesting, is that resveratrol and curcumin contain phytoestrogen, How much? I really don't know... maybe it depends on how much you consume on a daily basis?

Yes, just take it with food and it will absorb just fine.
Yes, but those are estrogen pills.

NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!

Forget pepper, forget black seed oil. Just eat some food with it. It is plenty bioavailable if you eat some food.

Piperine in black pepper boost absorption of turmeric by 2000 percent. Seems like a bit of a waste to not just eat the small amount of black pepper needed together with your turmeric

I think eating it with some kind of animal fat is probably even better, and that comes from trial and error.

@JohnAdams How is it better to take Curcumin? In capsules/pills or powder? Why? With what formula did you notice more improvement in your tinnitus?

      Thank you for your advice.

The gel caps containing the powder, taken with food. Just pure curcumin.

Tumeric and Curcumin helps open blood vessels and improve blood circulation. Its kind of hard to find solid information what the exact cause of this is but my research is pointing me towards increasing the production of Nitric Oxide or making it last longer in your blood stream. Nitric Oxide is a vasodilator that will help blood circulation but its hard to measure. Research points to free radical scavengers and antioxidants allow nitric oxide to last longer in the blood.

A lot of people get relief by increasing blood circulation. Wether its Ginko, Bioflavanoids, NAC, Tumeric or many other things its worth experimenting. Some of these things can have very quick results or can take several weeks to a month or two.

Hard to say whether I was just having a bad day yesterday but after taking turmeric with black pepper it reduced to a 2/10 (from a 4/10). Would consider myself cured this way if it weren't for VS (no change for that one so far)...

I don't know what's doing what anymore, but 20 grams of turmeric a day + ashwaganda, reishi and CBD hemp feels good to me. The last 7 days I've only had intrusive tinnitus for 1 day

It also interacts with BDNF which is disregulated in the DCN of tinnitus patients. I think that is the causative effect.
