Urti and chronic sinuses

I have always had popping ears well for a while anyway, but thought that was all normal. They popped badly a year ago that's when I then got tinnius. Never did anything as thought it was nornal about the popping that was until my speech sounded echoing the other day and certian pitches. I went to the doctor about it. He says my tubes are blocked maybe and gave me some 2 weeks worth of antibiotics and strong steroid nasal spray. Also said urti and chronic sinuses issues. Can this have an Impact on why my tinnitus has got a bit worse recently? Also low pressure drop too?
