Hi,
I would like to know if I should get the insurance plan to cover placing of 2 splints next year.
I'm afraid, as is anybody, that certain procedures at the dentist, can worsen tinnitus (and know now to allow for ultrasonic apparatus).
I have been told that the placement is similar to handling/processing a filling, but I don't see how that works...
Does anybody have any experience with this, and could they please share their experiences with me. Perhaps share a detailed video?
I'm rather afraid of doing the wrong thing, financially and tinnitus wise.
FYI a splint is a tiny piece of metal that gets placed behind the teeth to keep them from moving over the years (preserving their positions which were corrected in my youth by braces).
PS: I've never liked the dentist, that's not getting better...
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Michael Barton
