Went Temporarily Deaf Driving Downhill

      Hi everyone:) I seen my counciler today and we were going back to when the ringing and TMJ started and my first visit to my doctor with my T

      I remember when I was driving down a hill I went completely deaf until I swallowed has anyone experienced this ?

      If the hill was of a high enough altitude, then you will experience changes in the air pressure while driving uphill or downhill. It can cause your ears to feel blocked to the point you feel like you 'went deaf'. I experienced something very similar in a plane.

      @Hariz Nonis ya experienced it before too it's a very strange feeling :) it just brought up a bit of anxiety at the time

      @Cillian yeah sometimes things like this do make us feel uncomfortable, but there's not much to worry about as long as nothing serious resulted from them :)

      When I brought it up it made me think that it made my T worse and probably stopped it from going away but that's how bad my anxiety can get :)

      acoustic trauma
      Completely normal even for people without T. It happens in trains a lot too.. Especially in tunnels
