What Helps with Tinnitus? Can Any Foods or Natural Supplements Help?

Hi everyone. I am new to this group and tinnitus.

I am looking for any foods or natural supplements that might help.

Most importantly, if tinnitus is drug induced, is there any chance it will go away?

Greg, welcome to this group. While I don't know what foods or supplements might help, there is a general consensus of what might make it worse, including stimulants such as caffeine & salt. Others will disagree.
As far as it going away, I can't answer that but chances are it will get better.

My tinnitus was drug-induced as well, and early on I decided to visit an acupuncturist who told me he's had the most success with tinnitus that was drug induced. I believe by targeting the liver and/or kidneys, which can become "congested" from the shock of the drug in the body.

Unfortunately, acupuncture didn't work for me. I think the reason being the drug I took significantly affected all the muscles in my body, which led to several significant misalignments, including my neck and TMJ. But I have no reason to doubt what my acupuncturist told me about his relatively high sucess rate in treating drug-induced tinnitus. -- Best!

 

Try foods that are not salty, or caffeinated. Works for me. =]
