Experienced all levels of tinnitus since a teenager.

Noise induced. Heavy aspirin from migraines when young.

Post graduate student

Noisy work environments

Was successful business owner, 25 years, up to seven employees

three years ago airblast caused severe tinnitus, 85 dB

Quit sports and socializing, avoided friends

Became hermit, work only

Never goes to doctors, avoids doctors and medicene

Lost appetite, lost a lot of pounds, insomnia, days without sleep

Psychosis happened, never had mental issues before

Full blown psychosis, total detachment from reality

Very bad things happened

Forced to stay twelve days in mental "hospital"

Long recovery process
(detail list too long, this is a tinnitus forum, not mental)

Lost business while in "hospital"

Have been hermit for two years

Discovered social media while doing google research

Social media helped me engage with other people again
^^^ this was very helpful, crawling back to civilization without leaving the house

Have been mostly dealing with psychiatry, just now joining tinnitus online community
(while psychotic, had vivid and elaborate hallucinations and delusions) At least this what they told me but they were the same as real. They were spiritual related causing to go to Church, I recently "graduated" Catholic.

Have always been athletic and healthy, never dreamed this could happen.
Didn't want to live for a long time, severe tinnitus is my major issue.

I gave up against T. I now do whatever T allows me to do. (T be da boss man, haha) T is a persistent blank, full of stamina, he never quits or gives up.

I have downsized big house to tiny apartment.

This forum is appreciated
Thank you for a place to dump my baggage and be at home among people who know about tinnitus through personal experience.
BLAH,BLAH,BLAH...
Peace out!

Ima gonna cry now like a little baby. Kumbaya, haha
