I'm watching the Voice Kids UK and I’ve read that Will.i.am has tinnitus very badly from a loud music video he did. He doesn’t even have ear plugs in. How is that even possible?

Some people have tinnitus that doesn’t react/spike.

Oh okay, I thought with sound induced tinnitus it did. I wish mine didn’t react that would be nice :)

There's a wide range of earplugs to choose from. Some models, like transparent silicone earplugs are very hard to notice if there's no close image of the ear.

I guess it can in some people but think of all the musicians / people that still attend concerts with noise induced tinnitus (I know a few). Everyone's tinnitus is different, some have it worse unfortunately.

That is true, I keep pausing the tv to see if he has any in, I can’t see any. It just seems like he has a pair of ear buds or headphone hanging from his neck.

Saying that I have a friend that has noise induced and still goes clubbing ect.
Man, what I would do to be able to go to listen to live music with ear plugs!

How do you know he has bad tinnitus?

I'd like to know how loud his volume is.

"As proof of the severity of the illness, the paper describes the producer/rapper regularly working his finger into his ear and shaking his head during the interview to try to silence the noise in his head."

He thinks it's his ADHD that caused it.
